“… a get together for Surfriders, Vintage Skateboard Collectors, Longboarders and Slalomers”.

This multi format race was hosted by Surfrider Foundation-Washington DC
Capitol Chapter. Organized by David Riordon. Run with the help of several
great volunteers and the gracious assistance of Vans Skate Park.

The true face of the true champion.

Noah Heinle!

Tracker Man, Tracker Man!!! Everybody remembers a typical US midnight commercial?

Need I say that these guys took 1st  and 2nd, or you're already figured that out from a smile of their faces? Mike Ohm finished first in Seniors class.

Mr. Kimbel was a gentleman this time and let 3 guys get away.  Not very typical of the Kimbel we know. But remember, boys, Kurt showed up last minute, and if he had enough time to change his set-up he could have spanked us!

The first 7 guys in flatland slalom used Trackers RT/S and X trucks.

The two great DC Slalom organizers. The Russians say "two bears never share the same den". Apparently these guys are NOT bears (never mind the
looks:), or they just don't speak Russian!

We are so lucky to have you, Brian and Andy!

Motorhead Eric Geezer-X, PA Dan and Luge Demon Jastin are checking their times and developing a strategy to beat the clock. It all starts with getting a decent front truck, Dan!

Why trust a copy when you can have the original?

Tim Keasbey  (left, background), Vlad Popov with the most popular CCCP (USSR) model and the lucky Winner of the DALV's Tight Slalom board.
Flatland Slalom (indoors, 18 cones straight, 6.5’ apart)

Men's Open Class: Noah Heinle, Vlad Popov (Team Planker), Brian Parsons (Team Bahne)
Men's Senior Class: Mike Ohm, Curt Kimbel (Team Roe), Pa Dan
Women's Open Class: Ilva Skaraine
