Hot asphalt
Wes, you reminded me of something....
At the asphalt skatepark we had here when I was a kid (Thunderdohm), when we blew a move and our board shot into the air, if it landed nose or tail down, it left quite a dent!

We're racing in DC again!! I hate driving down into VA, but what the hell... Looks like I'll need to practice on big hills, but at least it's a reason to practice. Thanks Brian I love you bro (in a manly sorta way!) Can someone repost the address/directions? PS If you're looking to run summer races ...

If I can get the day off on the 13th, I'll make the drive. But I'll need a place to crash on the 11th. Sofa or floor w/pillow is fine. Just don't mind my snoring if i have some beers (which is pretty much guaranteed ;) ) If any DC guys want to ride along, no problem. I will be smoking in my truck th...

Dan, you mean like this? That's exactly what I mean. It just seems silly to have huge double or triple stacked wedge risers. The problem with making an integrated wedge, at least on a foam-core board, is getting the contours right so it blends in with the angle of the edge of the foam. It's harder ...

Decks with kicktails-wedging
Just curious.
Slalom decks with kicktails seem to require huge amounts of wedge risers on the rear. Why not just make the tail a wedge (flat on the bottom) and use less wedge risers?

Can we get a consensus(sp?) on any of the dates Dave proposed? AFA the Myspace thing goes, I say do it bro! I can dig up some old pics...maybe vids, and I'm sure some of the other guys can too. Let's race!
I'd like to do a G-burg race on the 5th. I don't have a timer and I'm not the best course setter. Plus I only have 50 cones. But I wanna race!
Have blower and can be there early!
Help me out bros.

Hey kooks, Dillon is coming. Get your butts up here! I made the longboard slalom super easy so the inexperienced kids could make it. There will be lot's more happening. Kickflip Challenge, Mountain Dew Team demo, live bands (including McRad). This will be the best concrete park in the region. No adm...
Maybe a bit off topic.... Many years ago I heard a guy on the radio discussing the US trying to adapt to metric. His point was that we in the US were much too concerned with converting metric to SAE and vice versa. Who cares how many litres makes a gallon. A litre is a litre! Get used to it! I think...

Longboard slalom/slalom demo will start promptly at noon, as I have to leave at 2:00 for my stepdaughter's wedding. If you come, you'll need really soft (I'd recommend 78a or lower) wheels. There are a few spots in York where I practice, but nothing really great. 'Course it's always more fun with another person. Any...
