New Quebec Starting Ramp Plans
Eric, I would be interested in seeing your new plans. We may or may not be having a single lane hybrid race on the JFX in Baltimore as part of the Jones Falls Celebration this September. They invited us to do one last year but the festival didn't happen due to lack of a title sponsor. Either way I w...

Sorry I missed you guys, but glad to have squeezed in a bunch of runs on Friday - thanks Cabbage! Stay tuned for the JFX race on Sunday September 16th, Dillon and I finally got the definitive word from the Jones Falls Festival folks that it's on. We're trying to pull off banked slalom at Lansdowne o...

NIMBY Neighbor?
Got to the top of the hill at 2 PM just as the barricades were being removed under the direction of a concerned citizen who just happened to live right across the street. No sign of boards or cones, so maybe you relocated, or went to Lansdowne? It was too good to last . . .

. . . what he said . . .
What a spot! The surface couldn't be better, the hill has nice sweeping turns in deep shade complete with a babbling brook next to the runout at the bottom. One time when John kept going down to the switchback trail I walked up alone and startled a good-sized deer grazing just on the edge of the roa...

hill sweet hill
Days Cove Road just northeast of White Marsh off of Route 40. It is adjacent to a Baltimore County Landfill, but I went there many times a bit before dusk on the hottest days last summer and it was never close to being offensive. The hill scales out to about a half mile long on Goggle Earth and Sund...

Hey Dan, Here's a Hill for You . . .
Been trying to get Dillon out to this one for a while, really nice pavement and I'm guessing around 30 MPH bombing straight down, no traffic after 5 PM or all day Sunday, sure can't get any practice on the Jones Falls Expressway! http://farm1.static.flickr.com/253/459882489_e5ea1b1e0b.jpg http://far...

Jones Falls Festival GS Possibilty Sept. 16th
Hey John > The tentative date for the Jones Falls Valley Celebration is Sunday Sept. 16th, and they had welcomed input about the possibility of a slalom race on the closed-for-the-day Jones Falls Expressway (i.e. I-83) when I last checked with them. We had a blast running cones southbound down the h...
