OK, I think it would make sense to group them to diminish the number of photos we add to each topic, then we can add topics for each of these groups of photos. Once I've got them up I'll let you edit appropriate introductions to the posts so that we give credit where due. I see this project as rest...

Re: Slalom Images
You could zip them all and send them with wetransfer to jani.soderhall@slalomskateboarder.com and I'll upload them all. Then we need to figure out the best way to present them, for example grouping them. Having them all in one large topic may be a bit too much. Do you have any additional informatio...

Good afternoon, brothers and sisters of the cone. Shortly before the forums at Silverfish closed up, I went on a downloading spree, in an effort to retain as many pictures and as much information as I could. One of the troves I saved was their "Post Your Slalom Setup" thread. If anyone is looking fo...

Yes, softer can help, that blue stim is pretty hard depending upon your weight. Also, often what happens while stationary on you carpet, is not indicative of what happens on a hill at 10 or 20 mph. Whatever you do, just watch out for wheel bite. Once you get that dialed, you might try adding some m...

Sorry for the bump, but I figured this would be as good of a thread as any to address my concerns. I've got a Pavel wooden GoG, bennett front, RTS rear, 66mm zigs all around, and standing on the board in my room (waiting for nice weather), I noticed that the rear wheels lift off the ground when I le...

Just when slalom is taking off again, that's too bad. Ironically, the best place to sell it would be at a race. Head over to Silverfish's slalom board and do a little fishing in the "what, a possible race" thread. A whole lot of guys got turned on to slalom in the Chicago area last weekend. Price? ...

The fact the back end is sliding out has you worried your wheel is losing traction. Another possibility to consider is your getting into slalom, constant pumping and increasing strength has you putting more pump into your board and thus you're not sliding out but you are PUSHING out your back end. ...

well, about a month ago, the lime zigs on teh back of my board slid out while i was pumping around campus (due to a patch of sand). i got looking at the wheels, and the outside lip on the right wheel is a bit torn up, as is the inside lip on the left wheel. but, i've been pumping around lately (in p...

they're offset...if they're anything like the 76mm ones, they're a little more off-set than zigs. but, i've heard that these earthwings have a harder lip than zigsSteve Collins wrote:Nice looking wheels. Are they center-set? if so, I'm stoked and will try some. If not, they're just copying ZigZags.

No Doug, not Superballs...they are way older than that. Hard to describe, but they are a kind of mid-blue with the Tracker logo printed in black on them. They may even be pre-Stimulator! I think he wants to use them instead of just putting them in a Vintage set up. I've tried to talk him into Khiro...

that is true, I skate with some guys who swear by the Superballs but they also admit that they aren't the fastest of wheels. well i might be building a six-wheeler sometime in the near future (just for recreational use) and i have a few questions about building it. first off, how much distance should there be between the 2 rear trucks? from what i can tell, it's about an inch between the boltholes of the front and rear re...

More tuning possibilites: you can use the big cup washer, different O.D. flat washers, or no washer at all.
