As someone else considering dabbling with slalom again after 30 years or so...reading this topic makes me realise why my old Hobie skatepark rider 'rocker' shaped deck might have been what helped go thru the cones so quickly at the time. Good job I've still got it! :o) Got a cheap fibreflex deck too...
