Hi there ! @ Keith & Peter: interesting news about the second batch. The first slalom wheels were actually lathed from bigger 2nd Gen (no core, metal ring in 1977) and later from C70s (white core, 1978), then the molds were made and production started in 1979 under the name CS (Core Slalom) but only...

These are beautiful "2ng gen" Kryptonics from1977-1978 - just before the nylon core was released.
Lightly used, not abused.

I have 2 sets of these reds - they have sentimental and riding value - but not much for a collector.
