Re: FootStop Designs released by PSD - in ABS Plastic

PSD footstop update: PSD footstops have now been in full production since January 2013 with two designs, the IN-Side and the OUT-Side, both manufactured and distributed by RipTide in America. The PSD footstops are no longer made using rapid prototyping and are no longer made from ABS plasti. You'll ...

Re: FootStop Designs released by PSD - in ABS Plastic

Hey hey! I've setup my board ready for the Bath-to-Bristol charity skate, and fitted everything PSD I could. Front prototype light bracket (I've since made this much stronger), nose guard, footstop, rear light bracket, tail guard, a new front light bracket on the back with a water bottle fixed to it...

Re: Slalom angles and beginner setup

Cheers for the thoughts on setup! I'm planning on swapping the rear seismic 130mm with my RTS 130mm one night this week. I'm also going to go with my smaller 62mm wheels as my 75mm wheels feel a little like they’re going to slide out, some how? If I were to get new ones, they’d be lime/pink 70mm zig...

Slalom angles and beginner setup

Right, I'm a long time LDPer and confident on my big board, and style of pump and arm swing I find great fun. What I wanted was to start a bit of slalom and have a tight turning pumper for over the winter months, pump it through some cones wherever I can. I have a skaterbuilt and I can have it at 18...

Seismic rear angle slalom angle

Hey. Setting up my new slalom deck and I'm not sure what angle to seethe rear to. With long distance pumping, everyone seems to love -7* and not get on with other angles. Is there a sweet angle for slalom? I'm trying to setup a slalom deck to pump nice and tight kind of for cones on the flat and get...

Re: First time board setup: truck angles on a Skaterbuilt Hy

Hey! I got a second hand Mike Maysey Hybrid deck at the weekend and popped my LDP trucks on. I normally ride them Bennett 5.0 17*, Seismic 130mm -7* Slalom I went 14*, Seismic -7*. I've only been for one tiny run so far, but darn! this thing turns like a nutter! I've already extended the wheelbase s...

Lone Star Beginner

Hey all, I've posted on here once or twice, but, I now have a slalom board! I'm a long time LDPer, so I'm hoping I have the control and technique partly sorted. But, I'm all on my own in this big city and want to start trying out some cones. Are there any tips on cone layouts? or details of beginner...

Re: FootStop Designs released by PSD - in ABS Plastic

The most suitable footstop for slalom may well be the "Barrier" footstop. Easy to kick into your required position, of you leave the footstop loose. It bolts down with a single fixing hole for a very simple yet stylish footstop. http://pritchardskatedesigns.wordpress.com/footstop-the-barrier/ http:/...

First time board setup: truck angles on a Skaterbuilt Hybrid

Hey all, I’ve never setup a slalom board before, and never even ridden one either, so I'm looking for some advice to get me going. I have been riding an LDP (Long Distance Pump) setup for a couple years now, so I should have plenty of parts to get me going. My LDP deck is a Subsonic Pulse v3.0 with ...

The latest news is that I'm expecting 2 of each design to be delivered early this week for trials and testing. If they pass the test, they should be up for sale very soon. FootStop Design Previews - PSD

Hi all,

I thought I would post this on here as it may well be of interest to some people. It's something that I've been working on for a while. My FootStop designs are almost finished, just finding someone to make them now!
