Slalom manifesto! We just had the Olympics in London. Zen and the Art of Slalom Competition. For major events - here is my wish list. Local small events are different. Make posters, announce time of finals - put them up everywhere. Employ PR and publicity person to contact newspapers, radio, TV etc....

No worries, I did not mean to be critical I did book the travel as soon as it was announced as it only gets more expensive the closer to the race. Hi - I would like to pay online - but it is fantastically difficult to pay using a bank to an international destination - plus the bank requires more information about the account and has many fees to charge. Thanks for the kind words. The St Louis single lane on Saturday had a varied tempo with some wide cones. We went to the skatepark after the days racing. Gints drove me to the races in Riga, Latvia on July the 4th 2010 - we also went to pick up his 2 daughters who skated in the races. He really did a lot for the sport of skateboarding in Latvia and made the effort to turn up at a lot of foreign races. We will miss him.

The downhill was indeed a steep and fast course with a footbreak stop required.

Have fun in Colorado! I had already booked my airmiles flight (hard to get/change) to Europe before the dates were confirmed and fly 17th June so will miss out. And my flight back is just after Antrim so will miss that too.
But st Louis was a fun race.
Any US racers coming over to Europe?
