What a great week-end in beautiful AMSTERDAM! I was a bit surprised that so few people came.. but if you didn't - you did miss a nice event. Everything was there for a good race... only the rain did troubles but even with uncertain weather we could nearly respect the daily schedule, even on the rain...

yup its a problem with power at small races where you don't have a power generator. And if you have a new expensive laptop with a fresh battery that would last a race, perhaps having it outdoors at a skateboard race is not the first thing you choose. John pointed good things here very well (as often ;) )

So it's also a good thing when not only 3 racers can have prize money. Overall ten first is not bad for example, event if the tenth just get his entry fees back.

About safety, perhaps it's not easy but what could be advised to organizers: Big events (MAIN and MAJOR) events should have on site first aid team or ambulance, rescue and medical team.
