Re: Troy Smart- USA
I wanted to post this video of Troy winning one of our local race series in Magnolia Woods back in June 2005. Troy was always very laid back and had an incredible smooth and powerful style. I learned a lot and I got a whole heck of a lot faster because of him. He always had a warm smile and I always...

Hey All
Pavel had some sick Wood decks that were released in 2007. I'm looking for the GoG model if anyone has one for sale.

The most difficult thing with the fells is the parking situation. You absolutely need to have everyone meet somewhere else and ferry over to the spot. Jorre is in Malden next door and might be able to help with that stuff and I imagine I could guilt Bryan into running the skating aspect of it. Glenn...

I fully support this but I think we need to make a bigger deal of letting everyone know about the discount for paying early. I was under the impression I could pay $25 on the hill in texas.

Hey Everybody So I was brainstorming and I thinking about our homepage www.slalomskateboarder.com. I believe that the ISSA should designate or have the Contest organizer designate an 'official videographer' to be at every prime status race and above. We don't want a half hour of footage of everyone'...

I am about to put down the big investment of getting a timer and I want to know people's opinions of whether or not I should get an IR timer version of track mate or tape switches?

Turning pro should be a personal decision, and yes there is a lot of pressure to turn pro if you manage to get to the top of the Ams for a few months or a year. I respect my fellow racers decisions to make that jump when they want. The Amateur class is where you get the race experience to move up. A...

Asheville North Carolina 2010 slalom contest?
So I took a trip up to Asheville NC, it's a great town with a vibrant culture and some very cool folks. It's in the mountains and there are a lot of great spots to skate a long with a killer skate park. http://gallery.me.com/coneskater/100066/DSC00063/web.jpg http://gallery.me.com/coneskater/100066/...

A deck of this length shows surprisingly minor flex and was easy to peg it through 5'4" spacings. Theres a comfortable dampening effect through the board from the ground surface So does this mean it does have a little give? I need a board to have a little 'pop'. 200 dollars is a completely made up figure. To get that kind of medical insurance it would probably a couple thousand dollars, I don't know. we (french riders) are covered everywhere in the world when we skate, if we are part of the National Federation (FFRS). It is the advantage to be part of a REAL organisation (what ISSA should be!). We can also benefit of "sportmen structures" in case of injury You want that to happen, it sounds gre...
