HAd a good fountainhead session today and had 6 people and a great video of a crash.
The one closest to the camera, Nick, got a pretty bad cut on his knee and Chris, the first one to crash just had some road rash.

Hey, I'm doing a science fair project on how fast different tucks are so would it be alright if I set up a speed trap with chalk near the bottom of the hill so I can get speeds? Oh, and anybody wanna run the course for me in the different tucks? You just have to go down the hill off a plastic ramp i...
Sorry about the short notice but I lost power last night and couldn't post anything. Me and Tony will be at Arlington at 12:00 or 1:00 and see where we go from there. I don't really have any money and this weather is killing me so I'm thinking a DC skate would be better when the weather gets warmer ...
DC skate
Me and Tony were talking about getting some people together to skate around DC next weekend. We could all meet at the mall or something like that and decide where to go from there. I don't really know where you can skate in DC and where the good stuff is at. So I'm hoping Anthony S and tell us, or e...

hahaha, me and Anthony had one come after us in a golf cart as we were pulling away in the car. As long as you don't go through the main entrance of the garage on a skateboard you won't be hassled by the security because they won't see you. And the race is going to be at 8:00 pm this Saturday in Res...

Danny, I recall being told Lake FFX was a bit steep for newbs? I was with some guys I know from one of the local shops. Do you ever go to the Town Center? Lately I've been riding through it quite a bit, they usually don't mind. If you're there and you see me, by all means stop me. --- Barry I've be...

Mr. Bittner, when you're talking about breaking off for something different how about a bombing session. I mean, sure its not slalom but I remember doing this last year and it was a blast. And since the best hill I remember is at the back of the park there will be plenty of people out of your way fo...

Yeah, I thought we were having it today too. Looking back I guess its a good thing I didn't go yesterday because I had 2 hours of sleep after playing a show at school. When we were skating I'd probably pass out because I do that a lot so it would've ended up being pretty bad. Sounded like fun and I ...

Rene, we're just going to have to park in the area before the gate. It works fine. If you can carpool with someone then do it because I guess if there's a big enough turn out space me be a factor. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&address...

Realistically, there doesn't seem to be anyone showing any initiative to organize, and I don't blame them because I want no part of that myself. The slalom guys might show but who's got a timer? For me, it doesn't matter. I would like to run cones for fun but I'm not interested in competing because...

Anyone up for trying to ride occaquan again? I think if we're more careful than we were last time we can pull it off and that hill is fast and long but not technical at all. We'd just have to find a better way to get into the park. I wouldn't have a problem going one at a time down fountain head eit...

From what I remember the park was kind of out of the way to get to so the cops don't really have much of a reason to be there in the first place. I also remember that there were a lot of people going through the park and it didn't really seem to be closed. I think it would be fine to do it outlaw st...

Wow, this thing is getting pretty big. This means that we're gonna have to find a backup spot if for some reason we get kicked out or something. OCC is pretty close and if we get some people to drop people and gear off at the insertion point and leave no cars we may be fine but it would probably be ...

I was thinking if we have a bunch of people who's opinion is respected on the forum. They make all the decisions and lets say that they don't have access to a computer. They can phone ahead to someone else who checks the board frequently and post the news. I usually check this board at least once a ...

It appears to me that, when the original date for the Landsdown event was rained-out, a new date was picked with little or no regard for the scheduling conflict that was being created with the (already scheduled and announced) DC Outlaw slalom event. When I then posted about this schedule conflict,...

Maybe we can have an extra long class for the LB slalom since there's some boards that are basically bigger slalom boards and rip through it very fast. So if we just have another group for larger wheel bases eliminating all those boards making it a lot more longboardish and less slalomish. I don't t...
