Thanks Ulf

How should this decision be made. Please no what ever you like answer, there should be some guidance. I of...

Yes but.......

The PDf is where I started. It definately states there is a junior event but I am not confident juniors could skate an Open course, so there should be a course they can ride. I am happy to come to the event and run it with training sessions etc but I also want my kids to enter. I recommend as a guid...

Health and Safety at Comps [Hannover 2008]

H & S is critical and should be considered at all events to ensure that the organisers are legally covered. Each race should have a risk assessment but this could be simplified if there are rules on issues like manhole covers and obsticles on the track. There were a few issues in Hannover, one where...

More to the point is: how many did you miss that you could have gone too? Nobody expects everyone to turn up to every event, in the UK we need to attend 2/3 of the races, but if you miss races that are local, even small, this reduces the future support from the organisers. I consider myself a fairly good slalomer but as our events are so low ranked, and I score no points from them I was pondering the following issue Should I be amature maybe I would win maybe not. Why does it matter how many races I did last year.
If the races don't count to WR or are so low ranked it is pointless, especially in the pro catagory.

The UK still had the largest series outside the FCR last year. We do not need developing nor dropping standards for. You will need to raise your game at Brands.

Its not to make it happen again but it may help others help in the organisation.

Never a critism against you. All I would like is to be informed (or someone else in the Uk) when you decide where the main events are. When was it decided to have the finals in sweden.

To be involved is good, to exclude and run your own events to benefit yourselves is not.

[2004] Brands Hatch, June 5-6, confirmed

June 5 and 6th. Three races H2H/ TS/ GS, old school downhill. All dependent on weather. Longboarders welcome.

This is the best event of the year, the best place, the fastest course and many different skill needed.

As this is a costly event everyone must pay entry. Kids free of course.

JG is dead right. The centre of gravity is the critical point, and compression. JG gave me some good advice once, on GS pretend you are having a s**t on the cone, compress more than you think.
Snowboarding is good practice for this, but as I live in London no joy there.

If there is a team event lets tie Longleat into it. This is looking like a strong event and i will look over the site soon. If we have national teams then not everyone needs to make each comp, just a minimum number.

Safe and grippy wet surface

Crystal Palace has a flat area (on the bridge) which is grippier in the wet than in the dry. I can not work it out but it is true. You can slalom tight in the wet and with full on pump.
Where can we get this surface?
