cyber slalom tips needed
My goal for this winter is to get moderately skilled at skating the cyber slalom course. Today was my first shot at the 28 cones. I have just recently learned to really pump my board on the flats. Using white Khiro bushings on my rtx really helped with the pumping. But I noticed that my pumping inte...

...and which "good rear traction truck" do you recommend Joe? and no, not messing about with this aspect of skateboarding. When I got into longboarding it took me ages to suss out good set ups for my weight and riding style. That resulted in a lot of buying and then selling of boards. I am not into ...

Roe quiver for a newbie!
Well after lots of reading and writing and skating I have created my slalom quiver with two well chosen Roe boards! There are many good options out there for a skater just starting into slalom. I have been practicing for the past while on a cut down longboard and have been continually thinking about...

Karl, what is the advantage to the 'cutaway' design on this board? I am just a beginner at slalom and am mulling over the possibility of this board for TS but it may be too technical a deck for my skill level. (sorry about posting here btw, I'm not sure how one can send a private message on this par...

So how common is it to have a SGS at a slalom event? And what set ups do skaters typically ride for a course like SGS?

Masters slalom?
Ok so I'm really gearing up to make slalom happen for me....maybe I'm starting a little late just shy of my 50th birthday. All the same I hope to be ready for some mellow competitions by next year. I wondered if there were any categories for my old bones...of course I can't hope for a women's master...

how to set up the Hester?
Ok, it looks like I'm not going to score a used Hester TS deck so I'll probably buy one new. I have some Tracker 129 RTS/X trucks I can use and also some 106's. I am wondering which hanger width would be better for this deck? I am thinking probably the narrower of the two, right? As well I do not ha...

I'd really like to get more into running cones and get something more TS than the Landy Mummy I am currently skating. I have my eye on a Roe Racing Hester PS. Re: Where to buy Avalons
Thanks for the link Steve... I had looked there earlier and found that shipping to Canada was a whooping $40 US! That means that the wheels cost double for those of us up North. Hence my search for some lightly used Avalons.Steve Collins wrote:http://store.yahoo.com/3dm-sport/wheels.html
