We will get everything started around 10am. So longboards at 10...traditional around 12-12:30.

Typical Outlaw rules. Course will be tightish. Vlad will call it GS. Wear your race face.

Jeff, usually it is around 10-15 ft. I like to have enough room to get about 3 quick pushes to the first cone. Try practicing going into cones set straight about 6ft on center. If you can make that then you will have no prblem on Saturday. The course will be slightly more difficult than what you wer...

weather.com had 80% on Saturday and 30% on Sunday. How can this happen. For the last two months only 1 dry weekend. Kevin if we push the race to Sunday or next weekend does that screw up your hotel reservations? I am afraid to move the race to Sunday since even if it stops raining by Sunday morning ...

I can't beleive it. If it rains tomorrow maybe we can hit the parking garage Dave posted about and run a Flat 10-12 cone course. Or even hold a Flatland freestyle or longboard freestyle session.

Dave, that place sounds great. Anyplace that gets us out of the weather is good. Even if we are riding soft wheels. Flat slalom is really good for conditioning.

Vlad, weather has killed our sessions this winter and spring. The fun is not over. We just need some dry weekends.

Slappy, also the regional parks allow for special use permits. The Bull Run special events center is a regional park and they issued me a permit but I need to provide proof of event insurance.

I agree with WT. Not so much from a spectators perspective but from a racers perspective. Getting a good start is all part of the race.

Drag racing is based on reaction time. If its good enough for "Big Daddy" its good enough for me.

If I had the opportunity to race on my home coast or fly to the opposite coast, I would probably choose to stay and race on my home coast. The West Coast race on the same weekend as the Gathering does not change anything. The Gathering is the essence of East Coast slalom racing. Everybody knows this...
