DC OUTLAW SUMMER SERIES RACE #1 We finally were able to pull off a race in DC with out rain. After about 5-6 rainout weekends we had an absolutely awesome day to skate. Vlad, clearly sold on PlankeR technology, had Dalv custom make a longboard for this event. Vlad makes slalom look easy. He is clear...

Jeff, usually it is around 10-15 ft. I like to have enough room to get about 3 quick pushes to the first cone. Try practicing going into cones set straight about 6ft on center. If you can make that then you will have no prblem on Saturday. The course will be slightly more difficult than what you wer...

weather.com had 80% on Saturday and 30% on Sunday. How can this happen. For the last two months only 1 dry weekend. Kevin if we push the race to Sunday or next weekend does that screw up your hotel reservations? I am afraid to move the race to Sunday since even if it stops raining by Sunday morning ...

Ohm,you rule. But never again will I ever hit another cone. For the record. Ohm beat me Sunday in Breck. I b...

Looks like no slalom racing tomorrow…Sunday is a possibility…so we will move the Outlaw race to Sunday. I really hate to loose a weekend if at least one of the days has a possibility of dry weather. Long board practice will start at noon at the Gaithersburg P&R. This later start time hopefully will ...

I am sure all of you DC Outlaws have been watching the weather cannel trying to determine if there is a slight chance of a break in the weather so we can slalom race outside on Saturday. Well, it looks bad. We have over a 50% chance of rain every day for the next 10 days. I will make the call Friday...

Hey, I never DQed you. But I will have my eagle eye on your crow hop tomorrow night. By the way, dont we have a grudge match to settle? I like having the reaction time. I never knew you could have so much fun racing on a 15 cone course. Leo that guy with the Fibreflex and PVD is none other than the dreaded Vlad. He was searching for a set up that would work for him. Too bad he never found it. J This course was difficult to get the setup wired. Ben was riding a ridg...

I will be there around 11-12. I will have timer, broom, and cones. Dan, don't listen to Vlad. The 100-cone course is not recommended for slalomers of our stature. Our superior slalom physique and mastery of the physical use of inertia does not play in our favor on the 100-cone course. To put it simp...

ARAB I kind of agree with you on the Euro racing scene. I have heard all of the arguments about mystery Euros that are way faster than anyone in the states. It’s all just talk until I actually see some comparable results. I am not discounting what Jani and Luca have accomplished. And Jani surely sho...
