what advantage is the hollowness?

I am wondering what advantage this hollow core deck might possibly have? Weight would be an issue only in TS where fast direction change is important. There are a lot better, more high tech ways of reducing weight than this archaic construction method. ...although it is retro and cool... Use a honey...

parallel only??

Love these old Turners... They remind me of Star Wars or something....ugly but memory invoking. They seem NOT to be rideable with the newer style of feet over the trucks. They suit my retro 70s semi parallel stance though. Would like to try one someday...

Where are Vlad and Gilmour?

Have not heard anything from these East Coasters recently...since before Christmas even... I hope they weren't vacationing in Thailand over the break....

S-Camber looks good.

Frank I will have try an S-camber like yours. I like the idea of what it can do for you, especially for the back foot. Any glass involved or just glue between layers? For fun squwiggling down the road and flatter terrain and slower speeds I tend to skate with an almost ski-like stance in the middle ...

Is Goad funny to anyone here?

The 'poor people are poor because they want to be' ignorant simpleminded right wing attitude is surprising in this crowd of largely articulate well educated mellow cats. The whole world is reading.

hand poured product has bubbles..period.

I am an Industrial Designer and have designed and specified several low volume manually poured erethane products over the last few years. They have bubbles. We have an inspection spec. for the number of bubbles allowed and what size they can be but we have to live with bubbles. If you want a machine...

No photo yet but I will get one. I tried another unsuccessful brake idea today. I used a furniture caster screwed to the underside of the kicktail on a long board. The caster had a brake and a roller blade style wheel. I set the brake on anf figured if I did a wheelie onto this braked caster I would...

Brakes??

I have made a homemade scrub brake which bolts between the truck and the riser and extends back behind the end of my slalom board. It uses a piece of sheet metal to which an old wheel is attached tio the bottom of the sheet metal and right now a piece of Nylon about 1.5" DIA x 1.25" high above the s...
