The problem is finding a fast hill you can put cones on. Until you find that, just find a hill and ride your board around imaginary cones. Don't straight bomb it and if its a big hill don't start from the top the first time. Right now getting accustomed to speed is paramount. It will help your brain...

You survived your first race and got a time. There are many that can not say as much. I just coneheaded my first race, didn't have the guts.

Now you just need to nut up and go a little faster. My first step towards this was buying hip pads. :-)

JG,

I thought you retired? Does that not apply to catamaran races? No rules for equipment. It is a three man team. Two riders, one pusher. It will be held in a loose GS course. No time penalty on cones, but you get kicked in the "bathing suit area" if you it one.

When is Marathon day?
