Let me know and we can spread the word. We've got new skaters that need the road time.

It was great Glenn. It's a road that is closed until the park opens for the season. It's a good size hill that mellows out, but doesn't go flat and runs into a circle, so no footbraking. It has plenty of shade and would be a great outlaw race, but single track only because of the curve in the road. ...

Wesley and MK,

Please hold a couple of outlaw races and work the kinks out of this place. It looks like a great place to race and I'd expect you'll see attendance when you can put together a larger race. Just keep it out of the summer heat.

The weather looks good for this weekend and Lisa, the girls and I have a clean traffic free spot. We'll meet up about noon and skate as long as there is interest. I'll have plenty of loaner boards. The Farm is on for the first weekend in August. It is 45 minutes north of NYC. If you are looking at a map, Danbury, CT and White Plains, NY are the closest big cities.

You can expect a hybrid or GS, a TS, and a vintage race where your board and components have to made in 1978 or earlier.

Kingpin,

Is that the one where John Gimour plays a washed up slalom skateboarder that finds a young Mormon protogee and trains him to be terrific, yet obtuse pro skater?

I love the scene where Gilmour milks the bull.

Justin, John is right. The best time and place for a new skater to show up is at The Gathering. All levels of courses are set. You are free to ride almost anyones board (just ask first).
