Flights to Australia are $1500 from here. Pretty steep and it would keep many USA riders away. Does the IGSA board have anything to gain from adding the Worlds to its event in Australia? The IGSA is a for profit org. and it seems strange that our newest board member (who is a partner in IGSA) is so ...

Seems to me there may be something fishy going on with Mr Reitma's push for having the Slalom Worlds in Australia. First off, how many traveling Aussie racers are there that have come to races in the US or Europe and supported those racing economies? Now many racers are there in Australia total? Doe...

Sounds like a few Maryhillers need to have some skin conditions cleared up before they start showing more skin!!! Staph sucks, but at least the DH community is getting the word out and people are getting their oozing rashes and boils taken care of. I do like the idea of getting the events closer so ...

J Rad for clarification The picture of the COSS open you are refering to...that was taken before the ramps were even set up...it was well before anybody (including 1/2 the racers) showed up I think that hill would probably make you manhood shrivel. That is a great idea, the rules need to grow with the sport, as long as they are not used to wrangle the direction of the sport to suit the agenda of any 1 person or group. There should be a racer wide vote at the end of each season to form the rules for the next year. Maybe a system could be devise...

Rules
We now have a basic rule drafted that states the definition of a skateboard....1 deck, 2 trucks and 4 wheels, lean steer, no bindings etc. If this is the format the racers have to work with, we should not impede on the guys who are designing things to make that chosen format be the best it can be......
