Ok, thanks guys. I think I will stick with what I have then. But would I be right in assuming on a good smooth surface a harder duro would be better, especialy in the summer?

new pps

I recently upgraded from a Bahne deck to a pps smokestack (hardcore) I use tracker rtx/s with some white bitch conicals in the front and yellow bitch conicals in the back. I have to say I am well impressed with the pps, I now use a fraction of the energy I used to , but I get more output! like loads...

youll be lucky, since getting into slalom myself about a year ago, I have met no slalomers. I have met some over the internet but havnt actual skated with anyone. I am under the impression that slalom is not popular.
So good luck.
Personaly I love slalom but it is a solitary passion.

squeaky pivots

I got some of this wierd kevlar based cycle lubricant, its a liquid that you leave for a few moments to set. Add a generous coat to the truck pivot then when its dry stick it all back together and presto! silent pumping. Works a treat and doesnt drip or melt or go all cakey. .

front truck?

Hi guys an gals. Am putting together a runaround pumping deck for the summer, its one of those super flexy swiss things 28 inch long. I plan to use a seismic 110 on the back, what would be a good front truck to use in tandem ith this? Any comments would be welcomed.

Do you mean that I should get the Stiff flex (as defined on the purchase options on the website) or that the flex of the boards is generally stiff.
Thanks. Mike

Mike, Everybody's talking, but I have to ask: are you thinking of the flexible wood-core Performance Series (PS) or the foam core Roes? Two completely different performance characteristics and definetely two different price ranges. Im thinking of a ps model. Im fairly new to the scene, I only been ...

Which Roe?

So im saving to upgrade (from a bahne deck) and get a Roe. I have refined my choice down to the Hester or the crossfire and I half think about the s-camber. Would any body with experience of these boards like to reply? I would like to know how they compare with each other. I have read the roe review...

slip sliding away

Hey there all you chaps and chapesses in happy skate land. I am rather pleased of late having just made the transition from not being able to pump at all to pumping all the way home with a huge grin on my face. BUT. I find that when I pump, after a while my feet slip forward on the board and this re...

Pumping advice - Thanks

Thanks to all the folks that have given me tips on this forum (pumping a bahne). Thought I might offer some tips of my own now that I have cracked it! It really came to ahead after seeing Simon Levene pumping along the street in Brighton a couple of days ago. I tried to copy his posture and it reall...

Hi there, I am new here and I've been longboarding for a half year now. I've got a sector nine pintail, but I'm not to happy with the trucs. So I'm looking for a pair of seismics, but I got no clue which width I should have? I'm intending to practice some slalom. I hope you guys can help me out... ...

thanks tod

Hi tod, thanks for the tip. The deck I jave has multiple drill pattern so I shall try the shorter wheel base. I wasnt sure about the wheel size but what you suggested makes sense. Better start saving cos skate stuff is very expensive in britain. Be cool.

Pumping a Bahne, please help.

Hola, Please offer any advice. i am new to the whole slalom thing (about one month). So I cannot really call myself a racer. And I don't know any other slalom skaters. I am currently practicing flatland pumping. The deck I am using is a Bahne Blackhill with grey Turner Cambrias on the front, and whi...
