GOG Front Slalom Truck for Sale
I have a GOG front slalom truck I am selling. It is the non-adjustable turning angle baseplate (I think 48 Deg). It is black annodized with only a few gravel nicks. It has adjustable wheel-to-wheel width spacing with both narrow and wider spacers on the axles. It comes with a good selection of spare...

Your Indy Low looks cool
I played around with some Indy Lows when they FIRST came out. The low change made a lot of sense to me for a rear slalom truck. I built the bushing seats up using JB weld for better bushing confinement--hoping to give better rear axle stability. That seemed to work out OK--I thought they were a pret...

28 degree baseplates are great
The new 28 degree baseplates are a welcome addition for slalom. The baseplate can be mounted with less of a wedge pad. The aluminum is higher quality than the 35 degree bases. The 28 degree base fits better on our standard riser/wedge pads. They can even be drilled to the new-school hole pattern if ...

Hmm, more clarity...
It seems that the DQ Penalty doesn't serve our racing community too well under some circumstances. I hope the following helps clarify this point. Object of head to head racing: best combined time from each of 2 courses DQ PENALTY BASED RULE SYSTEM. Under the DQ penalty based rule system, if a racer ...

Maximum time differential
I was recently able to attend a world class alpine snowboard slalom race. As many of us noticed in the Parallel Giant Slalom run in the last Winter Olympics, they race head-to-head much like skateboard slalom. Snowboard racing rules are a bit different than those used in skateboard racing. One rule ...

I have been able to modify the new Indy baseplates to get them the way I like. First, pound out the Indy kingpin. Get the standard upgrade 2.25" grade 8 bolt and bond it into the baseplate with epoxy glue. Clean up the cavity in the base and the bolt with something like acetone prior to the glue job...

cindy half spacers
Hi Martin! The half chindy spacers look somewhat like bronze bearings available on http://www.mcmaster.com/. They seem to cost about $5.50 ea there however. For fine adjustments I have used washers in the past. These, used along with 8 or 10 mm wheel bearing spacers offer reasonable flexibility. The...
