Auburn is a big snake run, pretty much.

Funny thing is that I don't think turning is as much of a concern as is pumping/timing.

Burien is a great place to practice.

Re: seattle park/banked slalom, and setups

re: possible upcoming slalom gigs, is the Banked Slalom at Kent (?) and the idea of a Mukilteo park slalom two separate things? Do we have something resembling a 'ditch' around here?? That would be sweet. Kent? You mean Auburn? On another note, my park skillls blow. If anyone has ideas for a park s...

The new Prosser, WA park is going to have their grand opening ceremony "mid march" so, I don't know if it's a conflict yet or not.

Just messing with ya man!

Ya, going fast isn't the problem, it's being able to do it with control. Like I tell kids when they ask me if it's hard to drop in. I say, no it's not hard, just the landing is.

I like the idea of an independent, course setter, who may or may not be racing that day, to set the course. That way everyone whose going to race has the same learning curve to go through. In the first round of the GS of the worlds('02), it appears that an open rider had the fastest time (Scott). I don't think a separate course is the answer, those who are less experienced, simply will go slower. Not a problem. We've all been there. If pros want more difficult courses, that's no probl...
