Hi happy New Year to all and thanks for the comments guys. I didn't take anything negatively btw. I am going to set something up even if it means I will do a solo demo.. As far as Slalom equipment goes...wow..nada..so far.. I plan to construct my own deck anyway as my stuff is in a trunk on the sea ...

Slalom South Africa

Hi guys Nice to see such a busy 2011 schedule. I have just returned to SA and am getting re connected to my old crones and was wondering (since I don't see any references to it) what it would take to get a Slalom event going down here..maybe in conjunction with some other event..X games ..whatever.....

I basically did the shape free hand based on my preferred foot position so I dont even know the specs but I can measure it up and compare... I am not surprised though as it is a really functional s...

It has a 75mm concave or more like spooncave as it shallows out toward the rear. The risers are basically part of the board and the bottom is beveled down to reduce the we...

Greetings to all... This "slalom" event/thingey is so cool! As someone who lives in the styx and has to slalom solo all the time, this format opens up a whole new world. Have to admit though that I'm one of the dummy's who skipped these threads due to the name....It should be settled. I'm going stra...

Narrow trux?

Hello all! I'm new to the forum but not really to slalom. I'm getting back into it though and have a kind of a dumb question..... Why narrow trux? Is the turning radius smaller? Are narrower trux more responsive? Stability? Also which trux would be recommended for tight and/or hybrid ? A bunch I kno...
