Hey Jani, do you know how to get in contact with him. The few or us slalomers here in Helsinki would love to hook up!

Thanks, we had a session yesterday and after our resident slalom machine gave me some advice i finally got the feeling for how to turn and the cone spray went from every other to just one or two. Your right Mike its an X in front, it was a typo. Just out of curiosity, what is the tightest spacing pe...

Wow this is sad.

I wish instead of bitching one of you took the time to answer my question, one thread below. Maybe it was an uncool question, but this is the 'newbies' section after all, not the 'i got a big chip on my shoulder one'!

I guess this is why this forum is dead.

Cone Spacing Question

A small group of us started slalom skating last fall. We have all been skating one way or another for a long time before that though. I am totally shocked at how hard it is for me to get the feeling of timing the cones. Pumping is OK with no cones, but once there is a cone in front of me speed cuts ...

One idea would be to put something on the front page that is a bit more timeless. A little blurb about slalom in general, some links to articles about how to get started, how to pump, gear, courses all the basics that folks first visiting the site might want to see. Then no one would need worry abou...

I hate it when a company gives board specs in cms because i...

Wow, thanks for the quick response!
Its looks like i must have gotten some old decks then, thats a dissapointment, i love the shapes, concave, and build but the new size is better and concave would be sweet on the GS. Next year i order straight from Canada.

Have the widths of the boards changed a bit for 2006? I just ordered a few from a dealer in Germany Claude Regnier Pro 28.5 x 7.5" Pierre Gravel Pro 31.125 x 7.625" Kebbek Team GS 30" x 9 GS has no concave and a decent amount of camber, the other two have the same concave pictured above and a mild c...
