Set Ups For Young Riders

My daughter has just started to ride a skateboard. she seems to really like but is having a hard time getting it to turn (she weighs all of 40 pounds) I was wondering if there is any tips you slalom parents or uncles or Aunts ect, might have to offer.

You could make a winner's and loser's bracket for each heat and then let them battle it out for the highest place available. Question

Who decides what race get what status on the West coast? Is it done collectively or is someone in charge of this sort of thing? I'm posting the Sizzler today or tomorrow and I thought that perhaps some people would like to know.

I ride a roe Unlimited PS. It was drilled at 19 and 20 inches for me instead of the standard wheel bases. I find this board to be excellent for both hybrid and tight (6 to 7 foot centers) slalom. Started in 1976, 1st board that was all my own was a red plexigalss Nash with Nash trucks and Road rider 4's. I had one year off when I broke my leg and was in a cast for 8 months. That one sucked.
