Soft vs Hard

Hey Chris, The rationale behind the soft bushing is really a question of rebound. Harder bushings just feel a bit dead to me. Rick, That would be correct if you were racing in the "A Class" in all events. Hood was broken into a an A Class and a B Class (in addition to being a smaller B Level event with 36 racers). Got it - older 3DM does not equal Turner. In any case, you're wrong. The newer wheels don't wear faster than the older wheels. I'm using the same wheels since they first shipped in March. No de france. Maybe you're using softer than duro?

I've got this tiny trailer that we haul the COSS ramps on. It looks like the Klampets just came to town. We have to stack em tall cause the trailer is a wee little thing. So I have to disassemble this rubick's cube when I get it home so I can fit under the garage door. It's a lot of fun.

Toe Block

The TNR toe block is sweet. Very adjustable, clean, sano. I think they're $45. I'm going to get a couple, but in the meantime I made a couple of pretty effective adjustable toe blocks out of a two electrical conduit blocks and a 6" legnth of welding stock. I've only seen one guy duplicate this idea....

Floyd was the fastest man on two feet for about three seconds that Sunday. I don't think I've ever seen a run out at that speed. Carl Lewis would have been jealous of that acceleration.

We use the "Byrd design" ramps here in the center of the slalom universe (Colorado). George Myler built them for us and we've used the hell out of them almost every summer weekend. They are currently on my little 5'x8' trailer, which is no small puzzle.
