Perhaps as part of the sanctioning of an event the course description/proposed layout and course-setter credentials should be reviewed as part of the process? Pat, on this I mis-interpreted the the cone placement discussion in the rule. I was thinking about the cone simply not within the confines of the circle - not all the way out - not thinking 1mm more like 1 to 8CM's. Moot post at this point.

I don't get the no helmet no pads thing. How tough or cool are you when you are dead? In the X-Games street event I don't think a single skater was wearing pads or a helmet. ???? That is very irresponsible (endorsing and no pads). I think sponsors of events like that should be liable for the events...
