***1/2 Very Nice Game. Although completly unrealistic, but then again you need to enhance the abilities of the player just to get the thrill of being on a board. When you are just cruising around, it seems like you are on a slalom deck. The turning is waay to reactive for a trick deck. This is defin...

I have pads, except I lost my left wrist pad (maybe I should just put my arm back in a cast to save time). I am wearing my pads when going through gates. In the picture I was going under 5 MPH and I needed to show it to some certian female friends of mine, so I just went w/o pads then. Thanks for th...

Hi guys, thanks for the concern. After 4 months on the injured list I am skating again. And the best thing, it feels completely naturual, I am making 6 foot gates (although not very fast) but I am getting better. http://www.slalomskateboarder.com/Racers/USA/KarlFloitgraf_returns.jpg This is me the g...

My favorite part of the article

"Her study found injuries requiring hospitalization were 11.4 times more likely to have occurred because of a collision with a motor vehicle, compared to injuries for which a person was treated and released"

Vald you got off easy.

I am home and feeling better. And in retrospect the hospital stay wasn't that bad, wouldn't you like beautiful blonde nurses wait on you hand and foot for 9 days? I'm still bored though, wheel chairs are allways more fun when you don't need them. Thanks Wendy for visting it really raised my spirits....

Well I'm stuck in a wheel chair and I have to decide whether I'm going to ride ever again when I can walk in a month.

Jk means just kidding, and I was just joking about how since John taught me how to skateboard, he taught me how to injure myself. The whole thing is pretty meaningless, never thought anyone would consider it. But then again with Vlad... anything is posible.

I only have expirence on my neighbors borrowed old turner hybrid deck, could someone tell me the pro/cons of the deck with foam? [ This Message was edited by: John Gilmour on 2003-07-24 23:38 ]

Actually Wes E crashed at JG's (my neighbor), so we skated around a bit. He thought they pretty good.

Triple Eight pads

I just bought a whole pads suite (helmet, knee and wrist) today. The local skate shop is going out of business and they were 50% off so I picked them up, but I've never heard of them before. Anyone know anything about the company in general?

This entire expience was awesome. I was great to meet everyone. I had fun cooking everyone's lunch. I even got a couple runs in (a broken arm doesn't set me back)

Props to Wes E. who pumped 8 city blocks at 2 am behind JG's Mercades.

Thanks guys for the great time.

Hey I live in America but my dad's from germany, Koblenz. I go there often and I was wondering if there is any slalom action in that area. I know about the event in Köln, I wish I could go.
