Where are you in Canada? we`re always looking for new people to ride with. Not a lot of stores carry slalom specific gear up here. I get most of my stuff online from the States. Bozi boards is on the east coast and have great customer service. Hope this helps.

John is right, dq`ing is no fun....I learned this at Da farm. I dq`ed on more runs that I ever thought possible. I think I got one time on each course, my time on the tight was good enough to qualify 5th in the open 15th overall and I was taking it easy beacuse I wanted to at least see a time. Same ...

Thanks for the tip, I dont plan on drilling it unless I know for sure it will be done right....I think I need to go visit my old high school shop teacher...I think he still works there. He basically lets my use it whenever I want. Helps to be a eager student sometimes. thanks for the speedy reply.

I recieved my 32" GS/Hybrid from Chicken yesterday. I can say that I am now in love with it. I have about 4hrs on it so far and it loves to go FAST. I find by toeside pump to be the strongest. I am using my rear calf to do all of the pushing and I just fell like its more powerful...but less stable. My wheels tend to lose traction more on the toeside, maybe this is the added power or just bad technique. I do have a pretty solid pump though.

Henry...I dont think you could get body fat if you ate nothing but MacDonalds every day. Oh...and calf raises are really good, especially for your back foot because thats where all of your power comes from. Grab some weight and stand on a step and go nuts. sure that counts....I really thinkhave internal time helps with slalom. Im always singing beats in time with my pump. when I 6 foot straight cones I just pick a rudiment or groove and think of it while I am running the cones, helps a lot. Offsets are fills or somthing else and then back into the gro...

I noticed at the G3 that there were a whole bunch of drummers, myself included. Lets see...I know a talked drums with KMG, G-X and GBJ at some point during the weekend. Are they any more of us out there......maybe we need to start drums circles at the races.
