You guys can trade your dolls all you want during the BBQ, don't bother me. Tyler is right though, if you don't at least try the courses more then once, or at the very least conehead, then you don't eat any of the food I'm providing. This is, first and foremost, a slalom race. No tickee, no shirtee....

No, but you will be paid in change. On the directions above, the correct spelling of that street is STRUYK Ave, not struck. If anybody wants, they can use this link to mapquest directions to that street instead, and follow the directions I posted above. You can see the park on this map too: http://w...

Somebody posted this video over on the S&B forum too, so I thought people would like to see it here as well:

Very cool story and video to match. For a (relatively) young guy like me, I can't imagine doing 60 mph on tiny narrow trucks like that.

NOTICE: Anyone coming to the July 8th Race in Jersey: BRING YOUR DOWNHILL BOARDS. Or if you don't have a downhill board, bring a GS setup that can handle some speed. Since there's a big hill that runs right past where we'll be BBQ'ing, we plan on running a third race, a Totally Un professional Downh...

Wow, thanks so much for the info everyone. Espically on the long screws, I use 2.5-3" mounting hardware on my slalom boards, So i'll keep an eye on that. And since I ride a flat Fatboy, and I'm a fat boy myself, I think I'll try 10 degrees first. Now I just gotta wait for the postman to bring the tr...

Dewedging The OS?
I just ordered a 110mm OS truck. I plan on running it as a rear, and I was wondering if I should dewedge it at all? and if so, how much? I'm currently running a 106 RTS dewedged 10 degrees, and a matching RTX wedged 10 degrees in front. I will still be running the RTX in front along with the OS truc...

Here's my newest baby. I needed a new Hybrid/Tight board that was a little more narrow in the front, and wider in the back (just how I like my women ;) ) and of course, Fatboy came through with another awesome board: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a256/Renshibob1/HPIM0221.jpg http://i13.photobuck...

Yup, 45 minutes no traffic, about an hour to an hour and a half with traffic to Wally World. If its a nice day in July (which it will be :)) there will be traffic in the afternoon. We could take up a concensis and see, maybe we could all caravan down there after the race. I'm ALWAYS down to skate th...

Paul, Fatboy's right, its about a car lane wide, maybe a little less, but plenty of room for Hybrid. Don't worry about that bike rack, its towards the bottom of the hill, so most likely the course will have ended and you'll start to do the runout thing there. Besides, as long as its not anchored int...

Catholic School girl?? I hope you would've shaved first. I devised a similar plan to end up on a podium in my first year of racing. My new name is Helga. What are you talking about Rob? You love it when I start acting up and being, well, me. Yeah, I do, but not everyone else does. Which is why I'm still reserving the right to duct tape your mouth shut and throw you in the trunk if I see fit. Maybe then I could actually move up a place in the final s...

That's funny Joe. Not to worry, Tyler's being smuggled across the NJ boarder in a duffle bag containing my old unwashed pads from last summer. Not even Newark Airport security were brave enough to withstand the stench, let alone open and search that thing. "Nancy" was also warned that if he starts a...

Well, three of us are still coming from Jersey also.
And, if it does end up raining, this place looks like alot of fun and its only 45 minutes away from the race site:
