I hope to make it down to this event. I will also be looking for a Catamaran partner for the World Championships of Catamaran Skateboarding. My qualifications for this race run fairly deep. In 1975 my friend and I had a 5 race unbeaten streak. The streak ended in a tragic accident that involved a lo...

No skating for me, I just finished off a batch this weekend. This may be the last run of this part. Aluminum and machine time is getting expensive. They are $20 and $5 for shipping in the US. If you order multiple toe stops I will try and cut you a deal on the shipping. If you are outside US, let me...

Thanks, Needham High Longboard/Slalom Club for puting on the race. I had a great time talking and riding with all you guys. The HS course set by Karl was fun and flowing. The ramp start was exciting with the quick bottom transition; it made things interesting. The ramp scared me the first two times ...

I had a good time racing and skating with the Karl and Needham crew. They are getting better every time I see them. Kevin from NH was running the hybrid clean from the top and getting some 6 footers figured out, not bad for the few times he has been in cones. Frank and Ray, both longboarders showed ...

Thank you to GSI, Tim Cayer, and the City of Berlin. I had a great time coming up and racing last weekend. The weather was great and the fall foliage was spectacular. The hospitality shown by the city was wonderful. If you put on another race I will do what I can to get there. Thanks to Pierre Grave...

Berlin NH 10/7
Come on guys, the town of Berlin and GSI are stepping up and putting on a slalom race for us. It would be good to see as many of the New England riders come out. I will be heading out early Sunday morning. If you need a ride from the north of Boston area let me know, I have some seats available in m...

Eric, thanks for the review of the foot stop. The parts are made out of 1/8" 5052 Aluminum. I would recomend that after you get the position worked out, that you use some thread lock on the two 6-32 screws that hold the pieces together. You need to crank down on the truck bolt to stop rotation or do...

Foot Stops
I will have some foot stops available for purchase at The Farm. They are made out of aluminum and can be set up either regular or goofy. The curved piece can be mounted in 1 of 10 possible location to fine tune the fit and stance. I have made a few other designs but these fit nicely to your shoe and...

I will be setting a course 6/14 at 5:30pm. If it is a busy soccer night I will be setting on one of the paths. If there are not many cars we will be going down the access road. Directions from the south: Rt. 128 north to exit 15 (School St.), go right at end of ramp. Go 1/2 mile and take a left onto...

I have been waiting for a few days to hear the stories of pies and debauchery. So did the event go off? Did Troy get a pie? If so was it a face or crotch shot. I am planing on being there on Sunday. As it is wired now, the timer can not do differentials. There is a built in 1 sec delay before the second switch can stop the timer. It is in there to prevent the front and back wheels from starting and stoping the timer. I could make it less that 1 second but ...

Pat, I agree with most everything that has been previously stated; however as races get bigger an event organizer may want to use other events as a pre-qualifier for the main event. I have seen this done in many other venues i.e. snowboarding, marathon running, etc. The event will could be fully pre...

I just wanted to say thanks to Derek for everything he did to make this event happen. The post race burgers and dogs were great. I missed the morning time trails through the hybrid section.
