From what i understood from this rule, not being an ISSA member doesn't exclude you from participating at the event, it only exclude you from official ISSA ranking for this event Other way to say it : i can enter a main event without being ISSA member (if the organizer is OK) but my results will not...

i have heard about a main race in sweden all summer... when we was in Policka, nothing was still fixed!
look at the European forum : topic has been created few days after Policka, announcing only a "Swedish Championship"
it can t work like that if you want foreign racers in main event.

we (french riders) are covered everywhere in the world when we skate, if we are part of the National Federation (FFRS).

It is the advantage to be part of a REAL organisation (what ISSA should be!).
We can also benefit of "sportmen structures" in case of injury
