John Gilmour, your last two posts were great. The good news for the DHB is that we can stand up to the Status we have received based on your criteria. For this year we are working on more cash prize money for the top racers but we have the other things you mention: 1. Good surfaces (Camper World is ...

Vinzz, I agree that the issue here is really not the 6 wheel 4 wheel debate as much as the need to have some structure and vision as to what this sport should look like. I am in TOTAL agreement with you that we need to establish a set of standards. I am not sure that set of standards should go as fa...

Vinnzz, the point I was making regarding the International Cycling Federation was not about 4 wheels vs. 6 wheels but was regarding the costs of high end bike components. With all due respect to Kevin, the argument that 6 wheel skateboards may be a deterent to younger skaters simply as at relates to...

Friday Feb 3rd Camper World Night Session
Last night the local DHB crew had an awesome session at Camperworld. We set a very technical, fast, GS/hybrid that featured a new design for us we called a flat top pyramid that required a tremendous amount of concentration and control to take at speed. The course also featured a speed section in th...

Pat, one of the suggestions that Tucker made back during the late fall when we were beating this horse black a blue was the need to create a third region in the US to accomodate the need for more rated races. He laid out a very good argument that cited population and distance as supportive factors. ...

On our own DHB website we are currently "polling" our membership regarding their take on 6 wheelers and if they will be allowed in the Dixie Cup. Did you happen to capture races on all 3 systems simultaneously? It would be very interesting to see if all 3 timers gave similar-enough results.
