94A black 3dm Cambrias and Avalons

As far as I can tell, 3dm may be the only brand offering grip-oriented wheels in such hard duros.

Regarding duro precision, it's typical for all wheels to have at least ±2 point tolerance in their specification. More than that, I take it up with the factory.

If you want to go in a straight line as fast as possible, then you really just need trucks that are as stable as possible and that turn as little as necessary.

Some of the elite downhill racers in the 1970s even went so far as to use steel bushings in their trucks.

3dm wheel color scheme

In the future, we will probably implement a new color scheme that does not rely on variations of grey to distinguish durometers. The old system can be confusing, since what looks like "light grey" to one person might seem "medium grey" to another.

The spring adjustment screws are supposed to be very easy to turn, but they can be a bit "sticky" on some sets due to a variety of factory tolerance issues. Yes, we molded several thousand of those wheels in the mid-1990s! The Seismic Richter 7.1 was 66mm tall, and 78A. It was excellent for carving and slalom, at a time when no one cared about those things. Who knows, maybe we'll do wheels again someday...

Oh yeah, the bearings are Ninja-brand ABEC somethings, and the deck is a simple 7-ply maple laminate from the 1970s. It has a rocker contour (think of an upside-down slalom deck), with no concave whatsoever.
