That is a good idea Jani. For the clips that will need some helping from the slalom community. It's not always easy keeping track of who is who there. This is maybe something to do for the final CD version. A list of final results is easier. Unfortunatly it seems like the Grüningen results are lost ...

But an unfortunate mishap in the first final run for the victory against Maurus Strobel from Switzerland he run out of the course already after 3 cones. All day had been perfect until then. Day 1, Giant slalom ------------------- A big bunch of 56 slalom racers had gathered for the first day of this German championships in Giant slalom. 46 Germans and 10 foreigners. 46 Germans! Where did they all come from? Anyhow, that's good news for the European slalom scene. Two German oldtimers in...

Bernhard, I thought about that too. The idea sounded good in the beginning. Then I realized that locals would always have an advantage. I would run my course when there is a good wind in my back. That would give me at least a one second advantage. But don't let me discourage you. I still think it is...

The jam format could work in parallel courses as well. You ride against someone else for the racing feeling but it's your personal time that counts. Final result is your best time in "red" course + best time in "white" course. It does demand some things to make it run smoothly. That's why the 161-gu...

The jam format is what they are using and have been using since last year on the weekly competitions in Stockholm. It works perfect for mixing newbies and more experienced riders. 2 best times per rider are added together for the final result. Take as many rides as you want.

Vlad,

By the look of all the "Wilsons" in Paris and Grüningen there is a protection gear that is often forgotten. A shoulder protection. In the above competitions it has been more a rule than an exception that you fall on your side/shoulder than on your front/knees.

Would be fun to know which Europeans are planning to go over to the US for the Worlds.

Also interesting to know if someone have found any good flight deals.
