I have yet to see somebody hit cones on purpose except for the rare criddling. I think that disturbs the skater and I think he is loosing more than winning.

Bruce, your interpretation of the rules is correct. Do you agree with them? To put a foot down in straight or special slalom will certainly be very difficult, so I think nobody will do it except if they decide to quit. Neither of the two fast slalomers the other day was José de Matos. The other one however was Jean-Paul Alavoine.

The regular Paris sessions are: Tuesday on the Trocadero , mostly a longboarding session, with heavy duty slides and general crusing. Slalom courses are set if somebody brings cones of which there are very few so far. (Soon to be resolved...) Thursday (formerly) Wednesday next to the Charlety stadiu...

We are working on a storage facility for the gear for the skaters. I'm not in charge but I think I saw a message coming by saying that it was taken care off. I was thinking like you for a second that it would be just as good to announce it as two different disciplines. But, but, don't you think that the Pros would then beat the amateurs?

We'll keep it as originally planned. Amateurs in the 2.5m course, Pros in the 2.0m course.

Corky, I don't think that there are many of the amateurs that would like to try the 2.0m course. Normally I don't think we should allow it, but maybe we can make an exception for the three best amateur (qualifiers) to make a complementary start in Pro category, just to allow them to compare themselv...
