Yes, it was super fun! By advertising the GS as longboard friendly, we managed to attract a good group of speedboarders/freeriders. But in order to race the GS, they also had to give the Slalom a try (they could not race the GS only
). We had plenty of loaner boards. They all loved the experience and are planning on taking part of our slalom sessions.

There's always next time Rick!
If you do another one in Burlington at that same sweet spot you had this spring, I'm there.
Rookie told me it is really a great spot.
By the way, Danilo beat the Rockin' Rookie for the first time ever. It was completely unexpected (no one was allowed to see their times before the awards) so he was really stoked!

Thanks for your persistence Mig. As you might have guessed, I can't make it Monday - already have other plans. Will see you all in Antrim though! Have a great event!

Due to the shitty weather forecast for tomorrow, the race is officially postponed to Sunday.
We will reevaluate the weather situation tomorrow evening, and confirm here what will happen.
There will not be dinner/awards at Shady since they are closed on Sundays.
So everything will happen on the race site.
Sorry for the inconvenience...

Address of the nearest building and where we park: 1300 boulevard Lebourgneuf, Quebec, QC, G2K 2N1. It's the bike path right under the power line.

Hi everyone!
Second local slalom race of the season. Saturday September 4th 2010, Outlaw slalom race at the Krispy Hill in Quebec City. Practice starts around 11am. Slalom and GS type race (longboard friendly). GS race will include the two 90° turns at the bottom of the hill. Single lane for the two races, two timed runs for every racer on each course. Your fastest run counts for each course.
We will end the day at Shady Café Resto in Limoilou. Once again, they have reserved their basement lounge for us with access to all the restaurant/bar and terrasse. Results, awards and prizes will be given there. So come eat a shish-taouk, drink a couple of beers, watch some skate vids, and talk about the great day you just spent. Here's the menu so you can plan in advance: menu Shady.
Sponsors:
- Free For All Boardshop
- Fullbag
- Kebbek Racing
- La Vie Sportive
- Razor Helmets
To help move things quickly and without problems, The Farm rule is in effect. So no asking for your time or you will see that run DQed!
If rained out, we will do it the next day: Sunday September 5th.
I will update with more info as it becomes available.
