It's gonna be a Tight Hybrid on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, monday sept.6.
There is nothing steep on this racetrack but we will ask Claude for his start ramps (wink).

It's gonna be free for registered speedboarders and 20$ for those juste here to slalom.
Keep in mind that the main event is the downhill and that the slalom is gonna happen after the big party, so i'm gonna be hungover while course setting...

Are you coming?
There is gonna be some pretty good racers, Aki, Will Brunson, JimZ, JF, Ian C, Civ and Rob are all supposed to be in town. Chaput is apparently boycotting...
Maybe Joe I and Tway...

It's gonna be fun.

I'm for SURE coming to cheer on some of the toronto racers, but I have a severe lack of balls so I'm not racing DH. I really wanted to hit up the slalom tho. I dunno if I'll still be around on monday, but we'll see.

Cancelled!

Post by Pierre Gravel » Thu Aug 25, 2005 4:24 pm

I'm sorry to announce that the slalom race we were supposed to have on monday sept.5 following the 2 days of downhill racing is cancelled because we lost our access to the F1 racetrack and the city refused to close our other option on 8th avenue. (we can still have a little outlaw just for fun on monday though)

All other events are still a go, speedboard, luge and other disciplines are still a 2 days event saturday and sunday, sept 3-4.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
