Hey Everyone

I am based in Toronto and just recently got into slalom. I am hoping that there are other riders out there who are interested in running cones, both training and racing.

I am interested in starting a Toronto GRASS, but need others to be interested to make it a reality.

Interested in current slalomers as well as people who want to experience the thrill.

Feel free to post your contact information here if you are interested.

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob, Mike Cividino is in Hamilton although I have not heard from him in a while. He did go to the Gathering last year.

Also try getting ahold of Mike Brooke at Concrete Wave. or skategeezer. mike is in T.O.

If I'm heading that way at all I'll let you know.

Speaking of practice - from I heard that you are hauling ass lately.

How many hours per week are you spending on your board, and the golf course.

Us Canadian's need to stick together - there aren't too many of us.

Ran a GS last night at our new spot - three hours of high speed cones.

Tod and Marty - hope we hook up again this season before it ends.

All the best

Rob

Rob, Tod, Civ,

If we are to hook up before season's end then you guys have to come to Marion's contest. If not for any reason than just to ride the soap box/GS hill. It is sooooo fast. Make plans to attend and maybe this time Civ can bring a Sens chair.

Rock on Lemonboy!!!

Rob,

Walking the little golf course I frequent is all the training I need......very hilly!!!!

Sidlo hooked me up with a deck that apparently seems to like me...

Tod:

Pocket Pistols arrived - absolutely love them.

Roe now belongs to TK and he is loving it.

On the list to try one of Sidlo's "projects" - saw the one Joe I has - very interesting.

Here are my new ladies:

What races are you planning for the Fall.

Marty - Mr. Karr's race is on my schedule, so is the Ball Dam race in late September

Nice lineup there playboy......I officially hate you now........;-)

Anyways,

If the rumors of another Texas race pan out (Oct??) I'll head there for sure. I've got alot of family down that way. would be a nice season ender for me...

Did you hear Chris Favero is trying to set up some sessions in Chicago to stoke up some newbies. Would you dudes come down for a couple of days of intense practice??

Kara is trying to get me to focus on a schedule for next year and I'd like to get up your way
for Ottawa or even Top Challenge if they keep including slalom...

Think about Chi-Town though....I don't think it would take much effort to get Civ and Chris back there ;-)

GAWD!

Post by Marty Schaub » Thu Aug 18, 2005 1:54 pm

Jeeze Rob,

Now that's a quiver to be proud of. Are you gonna bring your step-son Mike with you to Nor Carolina?

And what say you Lemonboy? It's time to come back down south and pop some more eyeballs and re-inforce your standing as the fastest man with the goofiest gloves.

The Saturday race will be a cool dual lane hybrid like Saturday was in Athens, again right in the middle of town. The Sunday GS will be on the screamingest hill we have found and it's butta smooth.

Ya'll coming to Mayberry? (Marion will hate me for that one, but it's true.)

its pretty decent, we've been hitting it up on a regular basis, and the natives have always been really cool people. Would a race be held via Moatfield?
