Generic?

Post by Justin Pannulla » Sat Dec 03, 2005 2:41 pm

I found this truck on one of my old boards, it was it was real disgustingly dirty and everything, but it was narrow, so i cleaned it up as well as i could and tryed it out.
Its got no markings on it or anything, which makes me think it was just a generic K-mart type truck, and its pretty ugly, but it turns pretty nice, (although those extremely old bushings should probably be replaced as theyve lost much of their rebound) Its got fully threaded axles that im sure have seen better days, but the wheels seem to spin fine on them.
Anyway, if you can identify it, then feel free to do so.
If its generic, you can tell me that too.
But either way, i think i might still use it, i kinda like the way it feels, but after i do some work on it, (new kingpin, axle, bushings, washers, etc...)

Well... heres some pictures.

They look very similar to Luca's trucks!

Thanks for the comparison Ramon, they do look similar!
And now that i think of it, its kind of a strange coincidence but the deck the trucks were on,(and by "trucks" i mean one truck, and one baseplates with a missing hanger) is a similar shape to Lucas deck, with the upturned tail, except for the fact that its plywood and not a solid plank, and the front is a bit more meaty and squarish.

Ramon, does Luca run with modded axles or are they still stock?

He's got 8mm axle bolts in and narrowed the front truck (don't know how much).

Nothing else, he even rides some old bushings.
