How do you polish an old truck?

Post by David Hegstrom » Tue Dec 24, 2002 1:44 am

Just got a pretty cool Craftsmen grinder and polishing wheel and I would like someone out there to fill me in a little on what I need to polish an old truck. I've got sets of Indy 88's, 101's, and 109's, plus I have an old set of Tracker fulltrack small pivots. I would really like to clean them all up a bit though. Kinda after that shiney look again. Let me no if you can help me out on this one please. Happy Holidays.

Dave

All I do, is take the hangers apart, and the kingpin out of the baseplate and run it through the wheel, and hit the spots you can't reach with some steel wool.
