A couple of slalomers are wanting to ride the Arlington Skatepark on Saturday. Say around 1pm. Then we could hit Walker for a slalom session.

Could someone post directions to the arlington park.

Party on.

Just wanted to give some proper respect to DC Wes E!

After sessioning Arlington skatepark on saturday, Wes rode with me back to DC where we hooked up with Doug and the two of them ripped our local crazy spot. I did all the shuttling as I ripped my calf muscle on my FIRST run at Arlington and was done for the day. Turns out I'm done for the year.
That sucks for me, but I gotta say, it was cool following Wes and Doug in the car and watching Wes go for it. Very few have charged it full on but E didn't hold back. Even Doug was impressed.

And to top it off, he actually allowed me to take him on a tour of SouthEast!!

So, when ya coming back??

Hey, Anthony, Thanks! I’m sorry to hear about the extent of your injury though.

I still need to check out that spot that we missed. After the Lansdowne race would be a good time for that. If it’s not raining, I would hit up the hill again.

Hey Boswell! How about you come up here and have a bow session with these deer near my house...u can slalom down the road to several good hunting spots...I'm tired of doing slalom in my car around them and I don't want another one to crash into me.

Yo Dillon, sorry but my freezer is almost full, If you hit another deer (or anything else as that goes) let me know and I'll make you some of my very special Road Kill stew.

I'm looking forword to seeing everybody on the thirteenth, It's been a long time.

Jeff

Bring some venison for me....

After I hung up w/ Coleman last nite, I was gazing at the moon and stars from bed and my dog alerted me something was up!! I raised my head to the site of 4 deer in my yard....Got out the nearest meat producer and dropped a 4 point that dressed to 100 + lbs... My freezer is gettin' full!!!! Long live the winter!
Gotta go write on some white paper, I was too pooped @ 3:00 this am to "classify"
Can you say ...tender loin for breakfast?

Sorry John, the deer meat is for me and my family, although I will swap you some possum and raccoon for a Radikal front truck.

If anyone is interested, we're skating the SouthEast pool at 1:00pm on Sunday.
Also, in case you people haven't heard, the Van's park is closing for good on Dec. 31st. Get it while you can.
To keep this slalom related, um.....uh....

What's the deal with the Vans park?
How can a place like that in a metropolitan area like DC/NOVA not be profitable??!!

PS...Think they'll let me have a halfpipe. Even the small one will do ;)

The closing of the Vans park will be the end of an era, and probably the end of park riding during the Winter. Such a shame, and right before Winter hits us too.

Anyone know of an indoor pool we can drain?

Yo Boswell!

Hey Boswell! I almost hit a fox w/something in its mouth sat night whilst coming home from the Nagchaumpa Party....I also dodged a raccoon and some more deer....come on out & get these road hazards off the road!

Posted: Mon Nov 08, 2004 4:03 pm

John, speaking of hazards, do you really want me on your road? I’d be just one more thing to dodge.
