Well, Wesley, that's a great deal, and that should be the finest 3-star Marriott you'll ever stay in, considering it sits just off the campus of Marriott International's Worldwide Corporate Headquarters and probably less than a quarter-mile from Bill Marriott's office. I'll be curious to hear.
13 miles from Seneca Creek

As some of you are aware, I'm a cheap SOB and take advantage of every opportunity to prove it!
If anyone is still looking for a room, I got the following deal on Priceline:
Marriott Suites Bethesda Democracy Plaza (3-stars)
6711 Democracy Boulevard
Bethesda, Maryland, 20817
Phone: 301-897-5600
$50.00 + $12.38 in taxes = $62.38
This is located at Exit 1A on the I-270 Spur between the Beltway and I-270 heading to Gaithersburg. I think I'm about 13 miles from the Gathering at Seneca Creek. It's a little farther away, but it saved me quite a bit on the best deal I could find in Gaithersburg. I was PETRIFIED of just asking for a room in G-burg because I was afraid I'd get the Motel 6 on Quince Orchard and be stuck with it.
Anyway, if you need space in a suites hotel and want to save a little but drive a little, go to Priceline and ask for a $50 room in Bethesda.

Mike Cividino and myself are staying with Joe I at the SummerField Suites.
Great thanks going to Joe for organizing the acommodations - they look great - especially compared to the Motel 8 where we stayed last year.
Looking forward to seeing and racing with everyone.
See you on Friday!!!
All the best,

I'm sharing a room with Jeff Boswell.
I think it might be at the Motel 6, aka Freight train crack ho station.
Smoking is allowed.
Someone please come protect me.
The "Gathering" - Where you be staying at????

I took Joe Iacovelli advice and I made reservations at the Summerfield Suites in Gaithersburg, MD.
I called them just the other day and the price that Joe quoted was still good. I got the room with a king size bed and two doubles for $119 a night. I think it will be much better than the Motel 6 I stayed in last year/ Motel 6 is good if you want something a bit cheaper but with it your get a steady supply of freight trains and crack hos.
Anyone else staying at the Summerfield Suites? I would like to hear who else is staying there and maybe sometime during the Gathering when eveyone else isn't Skating and partying there might be a good time to have some Skate videos like we did at the Luna Race.
Looking forward to a great weekend!
