They are well on their way to West Virginia's first free concrete skatepark.

Here are some tidbits about the project.
Project is about 3 years old.

They plan to keep the park as a free use facility.

Tony Hawk donated $1k. They plan to resubmitt another application.

They are in contact with DL/GL/TP, etc to design/build the park. They know who to stay away from... if you get my drift.

I'm v happy that Wheeling-*um-*uckville is getting a great concrete skate park and so sad that it's so hard to make that happen right in my own neighborhood or even where I work....I get your drift......in fact, I'm drifting out to seaaaaaa........................
