Mitch, you'll probably want a broom if you're riding at Fountainhead tomorrow. It had a lot of sand and dirt on the steeper side of the road the last time we rode.

Michel-
THANK YOU so much for the offer for a lift. Let me know which location is easier for you. I will be staying right on top of the Friendship Heights metro staion, so I can get to Shady Grove or Twinbrook in no time. Tell me which is easier for you, and I will be there!
Thanks again. I really appreciate it.

ok, the forcast looks good. And I am looking forward to "racing" with you guys in D.C. I used quotes there, because you can't exactly call what I do racing yet. You might as well name me "BYE", b/c that is what I am for anyone in the other lane.
Anyhoo, I will be there to annoy you all with my "look at me, am I doing it right?" interrogatives.
BTW, is anyone coming from D.C.? And if so, can I get a ride with you? I will be staying at the Marriot in the Chevy Chase Pavillion. I can use pub trans to get to wherever you need me to be for pick up. If someone can't pick me up, is there a way to travel the 55 minutes to fountainhead via pub trans?
Thanks all. Hope to be able to join you this Saturday.
oh... my number where I cna be reached is 617.448.5498

Sorry, forgot to mention the brave one, Mike Ohm, who despite his temporary shoulder problem came out for a couple of runs, started whining after about 15 minutes of riding and was asked to leave.
Most likely I’ll be away for the East Coast Expression Session and will miss the next race, but I don’t think missing a race is a crime. Look forward to slaloming atda park again.

The session was fun. Well, Wes Enimal, formerly known as "WesE" on this forum came out to play with us, so we should not have expected it to be otherwise. Slappy Maxwell, formerly known as Mixwell by mistake, set a surprisingly good challenging course that no one will ever see in a race, coz it’s not for pussie(s)-(and their)-cats. The offsets required thinking and action. How cool is that? Thanks Slapster!
Da Park ist guut! Da hil’, der location and das surface. No party (?) afterwards (!), so sipping on some Warsteiner as I type.
Ya know, group practice sessions are somewhat like sex – the less often one has them, the better it feels
BlackTail tomorrow at 8:30. Be there, or be...

Vlad, it is a good thing that Fountain Head is closed. That means no traffic to deal with. We usually park outside the gate and walk in to the hill. It is a good spot. We have never been hasseled there. The only problem is that the road is not wide enough for dual racing. But the hill has plenty of pitch and the surface is good.

Fountain Head is closed for the season? We can’t skate there? Or can we?
I’m in for a couple of hours.

Slappy I will be in Va Beach on Saturday scouting for possible slalom hills. It would be good to do a session there on Saturday to test the water for the Outlaw race on the 4th. Thanks.
