You'll have to wait a few more months for the first issue.

We'll let you know when it's out.

In Athens, Bobby B told me he had talked to Jani about this issue. I ordered a copy and got it a couple of days ago. It wasn't cheap, but it's very well done--very nice layout and feel, and a thoroughly eclectic focus. And somehow Aki's ass made another appearance :-)--clothed this time, thank goodness.

Thanks to the "redacteurs" for including me too, and to Farid for providing the photo and making me look more stylish than I really am.

From Naphte #1.1:
"What is NAPHTE exactly? Since you asked, it's liquid bitumen: a mixture of natural hydrocarbons, a gas sometimes used for fireworks, a degreaser, a fuel."

"Naptha" in these parts.

Oh, it'll dissolve most bushings and wheels.

Naphte?

Post by Marty Schaub » Fri Jul 01, 2005 12:58 pm

Funny,

The definition of "Naphte" sounds alot like what we call "Apple Liquor" here in the South. But "Moonshine" would probably be a lousy name for a magazine.....
