Prague, Czech Republic 1988: Live TV coverage, plenty of replays on EuroSport. It was an all event skateboard event, so slalom was just one part of it all.Lee Diamant wrote:I cant believe how many spectators there were in those videos. Was this beacuse there was a lot of other things going on as well or just that the people really wanted to see slalom?
Crazy, must have been a great feeling racing there.
Munster, Germany 1989: All disciplines of skateboarding present. Slalom was probably the smallest (at least in time given to the event), maybe not in number of participants.
Torino, Italy 1989/1990 (?): Only slalom event, so they were all there just for the slalom part.
Saratov, Russia 1991: Mostly a slalom event on the Volga river banks. There was a ramp and a small street area, but nobody really mastered these disciplines, so slalom was the main attraction.
...brought back plenty of good old memories!
