Thanks for adding the videos, there is a nice collection there.

I cant believe how many spectators there were in those videos. Was this beacuse there was a lot of other things going on as well or just that the people really wanted to see slalom?

Crazy, must have been a great feeling racing there.

...yeah Lee, it was true.....at 8.30 pm all that spectators were waiting for us,due to an hard work with media,spending a lot for pushing the Event , and doing a very good work with my crew and CONISKATE FED.
all in all the prizes: more than 5.000.000 itl 83000 usd and the double in staff sponsored by Lavazza caffe',,Saab,L.A.GEAR gold sponsor with SKF, and with entry fee for all sunglasses TS and products,and sat. evening disco and dinner for everybodies...

Crazy, must have been a great feeling racing there.
Prague, Czech Republic 1988: Live TV coverage, plenty of replays on EuroSport. It was an all event skateboard event, so slalom was just one part of it all.

Munster, Germany 1989: All disciplines of skateboarding present. Slalom was probably the smallest (at least in time given to the event), maybe not in number of participants.

Torino, Italy 1989/1990 (?): Only slalom event, so they were all there just for the slalom part.

Saratov, Russia 1991: Mostly a slalom event on the Volga river banks. There was a ramp and a small street area, but nobody really mastered these disciplines, so slalom was the main attraction.

...brought back plenty of good old memories!
