Chutes

Hey Slappy,

Most of the cars back in the day used the same kind of chutes as drag racers use. I think mine was made by Simpson.

Being the showboat I am I would put a bunch of talcum powder in my chute when I packed it. When it opened it looked like a big puff of smoke coming out of the back of my car.

The chute was activated by pulling on a cable that was attached to my hand grips.

I will try and post some pics of a homemade skatecar I built before the Vetter Streamliner. Construction cost of the Streamline was between 5 and 6K.

Adam is probably an excellent source for info on this section.
I'm sure he'll pop in when he notices it.
I would also think the kites used in kiteboarding would be perfect to use.

How about chutes?? I make small to medium sized parachutes for model rockets, so I figure I can make my own.

My question is how to deploy it?? HR
