ISSA - International Slalom Skateboarding Association

Hey guys,

I am going to be in Portland for a family reunion September 21st - 26th. Any slalom action going on locally? Within decent driving distance? My bro lives on N.E. 35th Avenue if that helps at all. I would love an excuse to bring a board or two. How about throwing together one of those Grass Roots Cascade slalom deals around Portland the 24th or 25th?

Maybe this can be the driver to put together an end of season jam? What say ye?

MARTY SCHAUB- Hey, unfortunately we're already having a race in Ridgefield Washingon which is about 10-15(?) miles north of Portland/Vancouver on Sept 11th 2005 Sunday. Just to be sure, check www.ncdsa.com on the Contest Calender for that event. Also, maybe post on the slalom forum or look up emails from prior race listings, I'm sure you'll find someone to at least get together with for a weekend slalom session. Later-Paul
