Hey fellow slalom skateboarders in Seattle! I will be in downtown Seattle for a conference(Oct 10-14) and I may stick around for a few extra days. No, I haven't looked at an atlas yet soooooo, can anyone answer some of my questions: 1. Are any of your slalom spots in downtown nr the Convention Ctr? 2. How far is Mt St Helen's(or what's left of it?) 3. How far is Vancouver, Canada, by car( I want to hit up a bunch of those old concrete skate parks.) 4. Are there any concrete skate parks w/bowls in Seattle? 5. Does anybody want to get together & skate w/ me 6. Can I expect any dry weather in October in Seattle, or in the Pacific NW, for that matter? All I ever hear about your area of the country is that it rains constantly...hopefully, it'll be dry when I come out. I'm looking forward to hearing and meeting some of you folks. Thanks!

Pacific Northwest dry?????

I am sitting in Portland right now. I left Georgia at 97 degrees, hot & dry. It's 64 degrees this morning at 9am. I had to go buy the kids sweats yesterday because it's so cool. I could only imagine what October is like........

Yo Marty!
